I manage a restaurant when I request a quote they got me my quote within 24 hours, I accepted their quote because they were 1/3 of the price of my regular company. They were out the next day did the job, even swept up after themselves. I will recommend this company to any business as I too am looking to use them for my regular maintenance.

Mandolin did a superb job w/ replacing one of the HVAC systems in my home. Their communication and timeliness was excellent. The installers were polite, efficient, and left a clean work area. My upstairs is cooling and heating better than ever.

We hired a general contractor to replace our boiler 2 years ago and they subcontracted out to Mandolin. They replaced the boiler incorrectly the first time, which my father only knew because he worked in the plumbing and construction industry throughout his career. They came back, "fixed" it, and when the inspector came out, he found that it was still not installed correctly. On top of that, the company DID NOT have the appropriate trade license to do any of the work they did. Fast forward, the general contractor found another sub who did the work correctly. 2 years later we think it's all said and done, until we received a letter via certified mail notifying us that Mandolin intended to take a lien out on our property due to a $500 unpaid invoice sent to our general contractor. When we called Mandolin to figure out what's going on, they asked us to send them documentation of all the above, which they obviously should have already had. I asked to speak to their legal department but the Controller wouldn't transfer me (my guess is they don't have one). I told them our next step would be to hire an attorney and he simply said "okay." Turns out, they cannot take a lien out against our property based on a debt owed by another party. Additionally, there is a 180 day period following the last site visit in which a lien could have been taken. It's been well over 180 days. I find it very unlikely that the company isn't aware of that regulation, and my sense is that they sent this to intimidate us into paying the $500 owed by the general contractor. I'm perplexed as to how this company is still in business and worry that some customers, particularly older ones like my dad, may be taken advantage of.

I hate to leave 1 star reviews but I feel like I've been as patient as humanly possible. My fiance and I started this process back in March and it continues to this day. The quote was reasonable, they showed up quickly, did a good job so we thought. We have been lied to, avoided, put on hold, and all around treated as though we didn't pay. But I have the invoice to show we did. They finished our water heater and when it came tine for the inspection we got the run around. Multiple days I waited for an inspector to come as told to us only for no one to show up. My fiance used 3 days of his limited PTO on waiting for an inspector who again never showed. We then were told the permits are taking longer because we are in a flood zone but we aren't. I triple checked before I bought the house I triple checked after they said that. After MULTIPLE attempts to call them again we finally got an inspection for 6/25 who then had to fail us because the ceiling vent from the old water heater wasn't caped properly, insulation had come off, and there was not the appropriate permits. They were quick to send out two very kind men who fixed it up beautifully. No issues but here we are on 7/18 being told that an inspector would show up only they never did. My fiance then called them, was put on hold for 30 minutes, and when he tried calling them back they didn't answer. We try to support local, we try tried to be patient, but after multiple instances of being lied to, run around, and just all around treated poorly, here we are.

Called Mandolin as I had a leak and a water bill that was 2.5 x what it was normally and was not coming from the street side. The Mandolin team came out that same day to see what they could do to help. Although they could not fix it that day they returned as promised day 2 to investigate further. They solved the problem and followed up to ensure we were satisfied. I would recommend Mandolin as their customer service was top notch. Thanks, Bobby, for your professionalism and great service!

Unfortunately our family was impacted by the recent storm that ravaged Brunswick County NC on Sept 16th. As you can imagine, this has been a very stressful situation for our family. Mandolin was very helpful in getting our lives back in order. We appreciate their timeliness and professionalism. They greatly helped us get through one of toughest times a family could go through.

Incredibly unhappy. Incredibly disappointed. Incredibly appalled. The treatment I received this morning over the phone with a person with a horrific attitude hanging up on me floored me. It wasn’t even warranted. I was as polite as I could possibly be since I was warned by other people about her nasty attitude And she just hung up on me. I am new to the company I work with and cannot believe that we are STUCK with a company that doesn’t care about customer service in any way. I cannot express how poorly this experience is going. . Coming from huge property management companies I’m not used to being treated so poorly by a vendor. If I had the power to fire them I would. I wouldn’t pay a single invoice. They have left my resident in this heat for several days. Every day I call. Every day I confirm that a technician will show up. Every day we are told they will be there before 4pm yet, every day we have no one show up. Who does business like this? I wish I could give negative stars since one is way too much. Please Do better Mandolin. I want to be one of the people that is able to give a 5 star review but I am beginning to think they are fake.
